Residue

In many of my artistic experiences, one creation gives birth to another. For example, my three dimensional Hebrew letters gave birth to the aleph-bet rubbings. As I carved out a coiled spear for my spear series, an inspiring “residue” of the center of that piece popped out. After adding an ancient spiral element to the sculpture, this primordial shape emerged, that conjures the idea of the embryo, and combines the spirals of the galaxies with those of the Tower of Babel. This piece is an artist sample of which up to 10 castings out of bronze can be created upon demand.
